The story of Villa Weiss

On the shore of the famous Austrian lake Attersee in the Salzkammergut, stands the glamorous Grande Dame, Villa Weiss, in her matchless beauty. Built in 1923 as the hunting estate for the Brazilian royal family, who knew to appreciate the high quality of life of the so called “Sommerfrische” in Attersee. The honourable witness of the last century, seduces with her charm anyone who catches her eye. In here youth she organized many extravagant parties. During the world wars, she could not simply watch and so she transformed herself into a hospice. Villa Weiss “nursed” the wounded amongst the courageous soldiers. After having served, she filled with joy and hosted unforgettable events.
After a short contemplative break the Grande Dame continues this lively era today. With elegance, the Villa Weiss presides over the lake Attersee and welcomes joyful guests with open arms.
